The terms and conditions on Facebook are such that it is easy to breach them. There is nothing worse than getting a message from the cyborgs that make up the Facebook team.
My own experience with the Facebook team has been less than satisfactory. I breached the terms and conditions by maintaining multiple accounts for the purpose of playing games. As far as I am concerned my breach was quite innocent. However the Facebook Team thinks otherwise.
In battling with these cyborgs I have found myself feeling extremely discontented, especially when they do nothing about things that are far more serious, such as pedophiles seeking to groom their victims, or those who seek to find a victim to murder - yes it really happened in Sydney. Then there are those who seek to bully their fellow school students, and causing the death of the individuals that have been harassed. Yet, the Facebook Team is concerned about multiple accounts.
The whole saga for me has been such that I find myself wanting to spend the time exposing Facebook because of the hypocritical attitudes that have been on display. There is nothing that gets my goat more than people who insist that their terms and conditions are not to be breached no matter what... and they do have complex terms and conditions, yet they let a lot of other things slide.
Whilst I agree that I was wrong to have multiple accounts, I do think that the way in which Facebook conducts business, and the way that their customer focus is so poor is a far more important issue. Facebook has absolutely no sense of customer service. Instead they act like some kind of thought police and this includes their so called warnings for over posting or even adding friends.
Oh golly gosh, I was accused of adding friends too quickly. They had to be joking!! Since when is making something like 2-6 requests in a day too many? It seems that something like that will get your account on the watch list!! Wait there is more... what about making too many posts to the wall... especially when playing Zynga games... hmmm... what is worse... what if you never see the warnings... the cyborgs will cut you off without notice and then claim that "you were warned"... well that was bullshit......... there was no warning. The account was disabled without warning!!!!!
As a result of this most unpleasant experience... and yes I object to the idea that I have to supply them with any form of identity to get my account enabled because in my view that breaches my right to privacy.... I have decided to search out news stories concerning the kind of activity that Facebook has consistently overlooked.
Everything that will be posted will come from news reports about where Facebook has been implicated in a crime, especially harassment that leads to suicide, as well as the grooming of children for pedophile purposes, or the seeking of murder victims.
Online activity remains dicey at best. It is time to make a stand and expose the truth about Facebook.
